Dr. Bruce Rudin

After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 1987 with honors, Dr. Bruce Rudin was inducted into the National Medical Honor Society, Alpha Omega Alpha. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a diplomat of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. In 1993, Dr. Rudin completed a one-year fellowship in adult spinal surgery at the internationally renowned New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. As the first fellowship-trained spinal surgeon in the state of Delaware, Dr. Rudin has helped develop spinal surgery and spinal surgical techniques, both regionally and nationally.

Dr. James Zaslavsky, D.O.

Dr. James Zaslavsky earned a physical therapy degree, from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and practiced for three years as a physical therapist. He attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine where he graduated with highest honors, while concurrently earning an MBA from LaSalle University. Dr. Zaslavsky completed a residency in orthopedic and spine surgery at the Rothman Institute in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He performed his specialty training in spine surgery at Twin Cities Spine Center where he pursued a special interest in the surgical management of the cervical spine and minimally invasive surgery.

Dr. James G. Moran, D.O.

Part of the First State Orthopaedics spine team since 2003, Dr. Moran is an integral part of every aspect of patient care and consultation. His primary focus is on non-surgical adult spinal care and interventional pain management that involves diagnosing a patient’s problem and developing an individual treatment plan using the most minimally invasive techniques possible. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is also board certified in Pain Medicine. Dr. Moran earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, completed a residency in PM&R at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and completed a fellowship in interventional pain management at the Mid Atlantic Spine Institute in Newark, DE.

Dr. Adam Ginsberg, D.O.

Adam Ginsberg, D.O. is an Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation board certified Physiatrist. Dr. Ginsberg was the chief resident at the State University of New York Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Downstate program. After residency Dr. Ginsberg completed an interventional pain management fellowship in Santa Barbara California at LAGS Spine and Sportscare.

Dr. Ginsberg performs a multitude of interventional procedures including epidural steroid injections, nerve rhizotomy, peripheral joint injections and neurostimulation. Dr. Ginsberg specializes in non-surgical pain management using a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Utilizing both his rehabilitation and interventional training, Dr. Ginsberg focuses on improving both everyday function and quality of life.

Dr. William M. Newell, M.D.

Dr. William M. Newell, M.D. specializes in Interventional Treatment of Adult Spine Rehabilitation Medicine. Board certified as a Physiatrist by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Newell is also fellowship trained in X-Ray guided and Ultrasound guided interventional which offers a wide variety of non-surgical interventional procedures for both the diagnosis and treatment of neck, back and joint pain. Dr. Newell’s residency was with SUNY Downstate, Brooklyn, NY and his internship was with St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY. Achieving his Medical Degree at State University of New York – Downstate Medical School, Dr. Newell is also a member of Fellowship, LAGs Spine and Sportscare in Santa Maria, CA.

Dr. Kenneth J. Lingenfelter

Kenneth J. Lingenfelter, D.O. specializes in Orthopaedic Spine Surgery.  He has completed residencies in Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic and Spinal Tumor Training, Orthopaedic Tumor Surgery, Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, and Orthopaedic Trauma, Pediatric, Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Lingenfelter is also a member of AO Spine, the North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopaedics, and the Medical Society of Delaware.

Dr. Peter Witherell

Dr. Peter Witherell is a graduate of the Thomas Jefferson University Medical School in Philadelphia. He completed a residency in Anesthesiology as well as specialized fellowship training in Pain Management at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.

Dr. Witherell has been providing advanced interventional treatment of adult spine-related pain in Delaware for the past 15 years. He has been both a published author as well as a lecturer on various pain management topics. Dr. Witherell is an active member of both the International Spine Intervention Society and the American Society of Interventional Spine Physicians.

Dr. James E. Downing

James E. Downing, M.D., a Delaware native, is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. He performed residency and fellowship in Anesthesiology and Pain Research at Tulane and The Ochsner Clinic. Dr. Downing is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Sub-Specialty Board Certified in Pain Management.

Dr. Downing is the Medical Director of SpineCare Delaware, a member of the State of Delaware Health Care Advisory Panel as well as The International Spine Intervention Society and the American Association of Interventional Pain Physicians.
